Dr. Leda presented her work entitled “The role of the blood-brain barrier in Zika virus infection” during the session Early Career Investigators, Part I (Post-Doctoral Trainees). Dr. Ibolya Andras was selected to give an oral presentation during the same conference.

 

 

 

Dr. Ana Leda was awarded the Early Career Investigator Travel Award in recognition of meritorious research to attend the 15th International Symposium on NeuroVirology and 24th Scientific Conference on the Society on NeuroImmune Pharmacology, held in Chicago, IL, from April 10th to 14th, 2018. Dr. Leda presented her work entitled “The role of the blood-brain barrier in Zika virus infection” during the session Early Career Investigators, Part I (Post-Doctoral Trainees).

Dr. Ibolya Andras was selected to give an oral presentation during the same conference. The title of her presentation was: The role of RAGE in brain endothelial extracellular vesicle secretion and intercellular amyloid transfer. Her work was also presented in the poster session.
